White House

A recently completed renovation and addition project in Shenton Park, Western Australia.

The addition was carefully designed to minimise impact on the site ‐ adding only 14sqm of built form on the ground level for the children’s rumpus room; with the new upper level accommodating the parents’ bedroom. Total site coverage remains only 36%, maximising garden and maintaining existing trees. And the original home was retained - which not only protects streetscape character but also reduces the carbon footprint of the new build.
