New fast “green-track” incentive at the City of Vincent

Vincent Council has become the first in the country to encourage more sustainable design through the promise of swifter DA assessment.

Vincent’s new fast “green-track” incentive aims to reduce the processing time for single or grouped dwellings to within 10 working days if the applicant can show how their design stacks up against the council’s environmentally-friendly housing objectives via “Life Cycle Assessment”.

The new initiative is part of Vincent’s effort to get more sustainable homes built and cut down on emissions, water waste and electricity use.
